Convention Exhibitors 2024

Optional College Graduate Credit

Fort Hays State University is offering college credit ($80 per credit hour) + A one-time fee of $40 as an onboarding fee (If you are not already in Workday).

Requirements for 1-credit hour:

Workshop Attendance
At the end of the workshop, a two-page reflection paper is written of the participant’s key takeaways from the workshop activities and how they will apply them.

Requirements for 2-credit hours:

At the end of the workshop, a four-page reflection paper is written of the participant’s key takeaways from the workshop activities and how they will apply them.

To begin the process,

Contact Heather J. Musil to be enrolled for the credit, via email at hjmusil@fhsu.edu. She will guide you to the on-boarding process by applying to Grad School, if need be.
Once enrolled, you will pay for your college credit through your FHSU email and Workday.
To earn the credit, complete the above-mentioned requirements needed and turn into Dr. Steven R. Sedbrook, Chair and Graduate Coordinator of the Department of HHP at FHSU.
At the end of the semester, FHSU will enter your grade for the college credit(s).
Finally, you will be able to access your transcript with the approved credit hour.

Convention Hotel Information

Hi all, we are excited to announce that we have a couple optional hotel deals for the convention in Emporia in November.

The first option is the Best Western (2836 W 18th Ave). They are offering $90 for a single room and $95 for a double room per night. To reserve a room with these rates you must call them to reserve. Their number is (620) 255-0933.
