The Future Professional Committee is a part of the KAHPERD board and helps make decisions that impact future professionals and the organization. The current president of the committee is Mattie Brownell. See her welcome message below. 

Hi, I’m Mattie Brownell! I am a Junior at Fort Hays State University, majoring in K-12 Teaching and Coaching, and I currently serve as the President of the KAHPERD Future Professionals Committee. My goal is to advocate for student professionals by bringing ideas and new opportunities to KAHPERD. Beyond my studies, I am a high school basketball coach and a lover of all things sports—especially pickleball and tennis. I look forward to working with the KAHPERD board to support the next generation of health and physical educators!
