KAHPERD is pleased to be a collaborative group of professionals eager to work alongside other national and state organizations who share our goals of creating healthier people and communities.
SHAPE America partners with many organizations to support our initiatives. These partner organizations include the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, the Partnership for a Healthier America, the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The Kansas Health Foundation (KHF), whose mission is to "improve the health of all Kansans" is an effective and valuable partner on the state level. KHF provides funding support for many of our efforts, including a recent grant for a statewide survey to determine the amount of recess time allowed to students in schools throughout Kansas.

KAHPERD partnerships come in all shapes and sizes; there's no need to create a big new idea or assume that only national-level organizations are welcome to participate in promoting our goals. At KAHPERD, we want to make being on our team and helping to promote the health and fitness of Kansans as easy as possible.
