Award Criteria:  

Criteria #1:  Understands the importance of physical/health education and advocates for its inclusion in the educational plan for all students 

Criteria #2:  Serves in a supportive role to colleagues, parents/guardians, and students in the implementation of a variety of physical/health education curricular and related special event opportunities 

Criteria #3:  Serves in a supportive role to the nominating KAHPERD member (as related to the disciplines of physical education, health education, recreation, and/or dance education) in scheduling, mentoring, and curriculum planning/implementation
